| Mei was born in Guangzhou in southern China. Guangzhou is on the Pearl River and is one of the largest cities in China. Mei has lived in America since 2000 and has become a citizen of the United States. |

Mei has a master's degree in business (MBA) from Purdue University. She is a health care business analyst and also is a black belt level in Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
